A Perfect 50th Birthday Getaway on the Oregon Coast!

We spent 6 wonderful days at Silver Cypress Resort and stayed in The Sunset , and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The location is stunning! It’s surrounded by the natural beauty of the Oregon coast and the resort itself is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. A special thank you to Rick, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He helped us find the best local spots to explore and fantastic places to eat, and every recommendation was spot on! Feeling so grateful and blessed to have spent my last days of being 49 in such a beautiful place. It was the ideal mix of relaxation, adventure, and celebration. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return to Silver Cypress Resort.

Private Getaway with Great Views!!

At the Silver Cypress Resort, we stayed in "The Sunset". Fantastic views of the Ocean from our private deck and hot tub which gave us the feeling of seclusion, our own little paradise!! We also loved the interior layout and comfort of the airstream, another bonus was the outdoor shower, It's hot and cold running water!! The downside; it was unlevel & it didn't have a microwave oven, besides that our stay was amazing & above either of our expectations!!

Perfect retreat for 2

We had an amazing time at Silver Cypress Resort. The place was immaculate, comfortable, quiet and the view is fantastic. This is now our favorite vacation spot and we will be returning as often as possible. My girlfriend said yes when I asked her to marry me but it must have been the beautiful sunset view from the bluff that did it. Thanks to Brent and everyone for an unforgettable experience.

We can’t stop coming back!

This was our third stay at the Silver Cypress. We stay in The Sunset each time, but I’m sure the others would be just as good. I can’t stress enough how much we love this place. Definitely worth the 5+ hour drive from Portland. When we arrived this time, the moment I stepped into the airstream, I felt all of my stress melt away. For easily the first thirty minutes after arriving, my wife and I would just unexpectedly sigh contentedly. We were so happy to be back and excited that this time around we’d booked The Sunset for three nights. The whole experience is perfectly cozy, with everything you need right there. While it’s perfect for us, I wouldn’t recommend it to a couple that needs their own space, cos that’s just not going to happen. But if you’re with someone whom you love spending time with and are comfortable around (or if you’re in the mood for some intense couple’s exposure therapy that will either strengthen or destroy your uncertain relationship) look no further. Staying at the Silver Cypress feels glamping adjacent, and that’s perfect for us. In terms of things to do, this time around we discovered that the 40 minute drive south to Brookings is well worth it. So many scenic pull offs and hiking opportunities, and the town of Brookings itself is perfect with far better dining opportunities than Gold Beach, which is only 10 minutes south, and a cute movie theater. Suggestions if you’re planning on coming: bring a can of air freshener for the bathroom, a candle for the place in general to drive away cooking smells, a pair of binoculars (even though it wasn’t whale watching season, we saw a whale from the property), and maybe a portable light source since there can be some dark spots in the airstream if you want to read or play a game at night. We will definitely be returning next year. We just can’t quit this place!

We loved every minute!

We loved everything about the resort. The grounds were lovely, open, and the cypress trees are dramatic. The view of the ocean couldn't be better! and all from our own deck and hot tub - it felt totally private. We sat on the deck in the morning and all we could hear was the ocean and the songbirds. The outdoor shower was great! The inside of the Airstream is so cozy, but clean, new and cleverly designed. it has every amenity you need, in tiny, custom made cupboards with beautiful wood working. We only stayed two nights, but definitely will come back for a longer stay. Just a gorgeous spot.

Fantastic relaxing getaway

We booked last minute for a short stay and were so glad we did! Stayed in the Sunset. Very comfortable bed, perfectly private hot tub was wonderful to soak in and enjoy the starry night sky. Everything we needed to cook our light dinner and breakfast was available. Handy little gas stove, refrigerator, cookware, utensils, plates and mugs, toaster and more. Never bothered by other guests even though all the units were occupied. Highly recommend!

We loved the Sunset and the consideration given to every little thing that made it a perfect weekend. Loved the restoration and additions to the Airstream to create a fun and enjoyable place to kick back. Will be back.

Perfect getaway!

Bought this getaway as a Christmas gift for my fiancé, which I knew he'd love. This place is perfect! We enjoyed the views from the the room, hot tub and shower. Lucked out with one day being filled with sunshine, so we took the kite out onto the beach. Amazing place to unplug, unwind and recharge!!! Thank you!

Great Place !

We really loved our visit to Silver Cypress. Stayed in the Sunset, excellent place to relax and unwind. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer. Will be back for sure. Beautiful view from the room, deck, tub, and outside shower. Loved the outside shower. The place is unique and really cool. Cheers
